Polo's Story

Polo is a sweet pony with a heartbreaking past, but a truly gentle heart.

His road to recovery started with a tragic story: neglected by his former owner and desperate for food, he was frequently caught searching in a neighbor's field.

After an attempt to retrieve him turned tragic for his mate, a concerned farmer intervened and called us for help.​

Polo arrived in very rough condition and still bravely battles recurring chronic laminitis, a painful inflammatory hoof condition.

This complex diagnosis means he requires meticulous, ongoing care, including:
